Welcome to Columbia River Chapter, NSDAR, in Richland Washington. We invite you to browse our website or perhaps visit our chapter. We would love to share with you about who we are, what we do, and why we are proud to be members of the Daughters of the American Revolution. We promote the objectives of the National Society - historic preservation, education, and patriotism - in our activities and programs.
Our chapter has grown to more than 45 members and chapter meetings are held on the second Saturday of each month September to May. As a service organization we are actively involved in our community throughout the entire year. Please feel free to contact us with any questions concerning membership. We would love to have you join us!

EDUCATION
Columbia River Chapter, NSDAR, has several educational projects every year. Projects and efforts include presenting programs to school students about the Constitution; creating displays at local Public Libraries with information on the Founding Fathers, the Constitution and women's issues; and donating needed supplies to local classrooms.
HISTORIC PRESERVATION
Historic Preservation is a family affair with our chapter. Chapter members and their families cleaned headstones and cataloged the graves of Veterans outside the Veterans Section at Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Richland. We also put on our working gloves to clean up local community areas.
PATRIOTISM
The chapter is involved in many projects that support veterans, such as donating twenty-five backpacks filled with needed items for homeless veterans; sponsoring Wreaths Across America event each December at Sunset Gardens in Richland; donating baby items to active-duty military families every December during our annual event, Operation Diaper Bag; and participating in local parades.
