The Columbia River Chapter, National Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) is located in Richland, Washington. Richland is located on the eastern side of the state along the beautiful Columbia River. We are part of the Washington State Society of DAR (WSSDAR).
We would love to meet you and help you become a part of this wonderful organization. DAR is for women who have a family member who served in the American Revolution. We are a lineage organization whose main focus is on service to our local community. Becoming a member of DAR honors your family Patriot and preserves your Patriot’s legacy. We have a diverse membership from different backgrounds and occupations, all connected through our similar ties to our Patriots. Our members have various talents and passions that contribute to our volunteer efforts and assist in making a difference within our community. As a member of DAR, you can continue to contribute to the legacy of your family’s Patriot. Those patriots dreamed of the country we all celebrate today and we can continue that dream together. We are an organization that focuses on service to our community. In addition to monthly meetings, our chapter participates in diverse activities that promote the mission of DAR. Our mission is to promote Historic Preservation, Education, and Patriotism. Members along with their children, families and friends are encouraged to join in these activities. Getting involved in our community is FUN.
