Celebrating over 75 yearsColumbia River Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR) became a chapter on March 17, 1949. In March 2024 the chapter celebrated its 75th Anniversary. We have "sparkled" from our beginning. With 45 members in our chapter we support many community projects throughout the year. Our focus is on Historic Preservation, Education and Patriotism.

Meet Us
|
We are dedicated to promoting education, historic preservation, and patriotism through a wide range of community service activities. We help restore and maintain historical sites, preserve genealogical records and artifacts, and locate and mark American Revolutionary War Patriot gravesites. Some of our local projects include community classroom support, sponsoring youth programs such as the American History Essay Contest, and promoting citizenship and Constitution Week. We volunteer with veterans and support active military personnel. Through projects like cleaning monuments, dedicating Patriot markers, planting commemorative trees, and celebrating new citizens at naturalization ceremonies, DAR Daughter’s continue to honor the nation’s heritage and serve their communities with pride.
