Welcome to Columbia River Chapter, in Richland Washington. We invite you to browse our website or perhaps visit our chapter. We would love to share with you about who we are, what we do, and why we are proud to be members of the Daughters of the American Revolution. We promote the objectives of the National Society - historic preservation, education, and patriotism - in our activities and programs.
Our Chapter has grown to more than 45 members. Chapter meetings are held on the second Saturday of each month from September to May. As a service organization we are actively involved in our community throughout the entire year. Please feel free to contact us with any questions concerning membership. We would love to have you join us!

EDUCATION
Other Columbia River Chapter has several educational projects every year. This past fall, one of our members presented a program to elementary school students about the Constitution. Members also created displays at the local Public Libraries with information on the Founding Fathers, the Constitution and women's issues. Other members donated quilts for the students at Chemawa Indian School.
HISTORIC PRESERVATION
Historic Preservation is a family affair with our Chapter. Chapter members and their families cleaned headstones and cataloged those veteran's graves that are outside of the Veterans Section at Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Richland.
PATRIOTISM
The Chapter is involved in many projects that support veterans. We donated twenty-five backpacks filled with needed items for homeless veterans. Operation Diaper Bag is an annual event where members donate baby items to active duty families every December. The Chapter also sponsors the Wreaths Across America event each December at Sunset Gardens in Richland.
